Business Analyst 

3+ Month Contract

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

This position provides the process and technical business analysis skills for the Procure to Pay (PTP) Core Process space. This potential candidate will be the primary business analyst on Company's Supplier Information and Performance Management solution selection and assessment project.

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Assist team in establishing scope for a Supplier Information and Performance Management system.

*Assess the business customer requirements, match these requirements to objectives and guide the team through the processes and products to select a Supplier Information and Performance Management solution

*Drive and document the current and potential future state process maps for the business processes around the use of a Supplier Information and Performance Management system.

*Work across teams to gather implementation estimates on the selected solution leveraging the established scope and requirements.

*Actively participate on this cross-functional project team and provide technical and business process expertise.

*Work with project manager to manage issues associated with project interdependence, resource allocation, financial issues and change management.

*Provide input to the PM for project plan including timelines and milestones and track progress; inspire teamwork and responsibility across project teams; hold teams accountable to schedules, budgets, and scope.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

*Strong experience with ERP systems, specifically SAP

*Experience with data warehousing

*Proficient use of Microsoft software, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio and Project

 

DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

*Business Analysis certification.

*Experience with a Supplier Information and Performance Management System.

*Requirements definition.

*Strong process mapping and systemic thinking ability.

*General understanding of Supply Chain processes, including planning, procurement, receiving, inventory management and shipping.

*Resource, cost, and budget planning/estimation.

*General knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.

*APICS certification
