UNIX/LINUX ADMINISTRATOR

LOCATION:HOUSTON,TEXAS
DURATION:6 MONTHS WITH POSSIBLE EXTENSION

• 7 years of Unix/Linux shell scripting

• 7 years of Solaris 10 and Veritas, 3 years with AIX experience

• Linux experience is preferred

• General UNIX/Linux experience working with specific with Oracle database servers 11G environment, knowledge with SAP application is a plus

• Ability to troubleshoot and tune performance issue at the OS level

• 5 years of experience with any data backup and recovery systems. This includes data replication using NetApp to and from DR.

• Physically able to rack and stack severs including cable management.

• 3 years experiences with SAN switches. Knowledge of FCoE is a plus.

• 5 years' experience with NetApp storage administration

• Experience with Hitachi storage solution is preferred

• 3 years of VMware experiences is preferred

• Ability to work in a fast pace environment

• Good communications skills and able to work independently.
