The Service Assurance Analyst works on IT's Service Assurance tools for IT Infrastructure. Managed systems include: Network, Storage, Compute, and Voice/Video. Management capabilities include: Event correlation and service inventory. Solutions will integrate with other IT Service Management capabilities: Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Configuration Management.
Required
· Strong analytical skills
· Strong understanding of Analyst's role in the Project Life Cycle
· Experience with developing Use Cases, Functional Specifications, and User Acceptance Tests
· Familiarity with UML
· Excellent verbal and written communication
· Background in IT Infrastructure
· Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) and ITIL
Desired
· Familiarity with Network Management, SNMP, and syslog
· Experience with Management suites, such as Tivoli, BMC, OpenView
· Experience with Oracle, SQL, XML, and scripting (Perl, Powershell)
· Familiarity with TCP/IP based network and application protocols (DNS, DHCP, SNMP, LDAP, SMTP, HTTP, FTP)
· Experience with TCP/IP network configuration and troubleshooting
· Experience working in Unix-based environment
· Familiarity with server virtualization
Education and Experience
BS in a technical field (CS/EE preferred), and 4-7 years of relevant work experience.
3. Service Assurance Engineer

The Service Assurance Engineer works in IT to implement, integrate, and configure Service Assurance tools for IT Infrastructure. Managed systems include: Network, Storage, Compute, and Voice/Video. Management capabilities include: Event correlation and service inventory. Solutions will integrate with other IT Service Management capabilities: Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Configuration Management.
Required
· Strong scripting such as Perl, Powershell, etc
· Experience with SQL and RDBMS
· Good verbal and written communication
· Experience working in Unix-based environment
Desired
· Experience developing Web-based applications
· Experience with Oracle
· Experience integrating systems with SOA and REST based solutions
· Experience with Network Management, SNMP, and syslog
· Familiarity with TCP/IP based network and application protocols (DNS, DHCP, SNMP, LDAP, SMTP, HTTP, FTP)
· Experience with Unix System Administration
· Experience with TCP/IP network configuration and troubleshooting
