Oracle DBA with PeopleSoft Exp

Location : Sanjose,CA

Duration : Long term

Interview : Telephonic and Skype .

Joining :  Immediate Interviews going on , Need to Join immediately .

 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

·         Understand the current high availability requirements and Oracle Database environment and its use cases

·         Understand the current peoplesoft applications landscape

·         Design the High availability solution using Active Data guard , effective/optimum partitioning of the database for primary/standby usage .

·         Come up with a implementation/roll out plan

·         Work with the peoplesoft application team to help them migrate to use the Data Guard solution

·         Writes clear and complete documentation  including all required information w.r.t requirements , design options , architectural and implementation details.

Experience & Qualifications

·         Engineering/Science degree with 8 to 10 years in Oracle DBA,

·         Implementation of Active Data guard for high availability application environments

·         Working knowledge of ERP products – preferably Peoplesoft

·         US Citizens or immigrants with valid Work visa to work in USA

Competencies / Skill sets required for the role:

·         Working experience of Oracle DBA  and designing high availability systems using active data guard.

·         Working knowledge in Peoplesoft application /similar ERP packages

·         Very good architectural ,design and analytical skills

·         Good English communication skills

·         Architect resource who has implemented the Active Data Guard solution with PeopleSoft.

·         The architect will work with the Customer internal team to plan the solution delivery

·         Once the solution has been defined, assist the Customer team to deliver the solution
