[ASP_NET_jobs] Need SQL Developer.....

Hi there!

Our client is currently seeking a SQL Developer in Fort Belvoir, Virginia. It is 6+months contract

Essential Job Functions:
* Prepare reports on database performance
* Modify existing database per user requirements
* Gather business requirements
* Tune and optimize database performance

Other Responsibilities:
* Perform other tasks consistent with the goals and objectives of the department/contract

Required Experience:
* Experience working with medium-sized to enterprise-scale organizations that use powerful database management systems and data analysis tools
* Experience working with data analysis tools and applications
* Experience writing queries, stored procedures, using data modeling tools, designing and optimizing databases and implementation data at the physical level
* 10+ years' experience with database implementation and design
* Experience with Java/JDBC
* Experience creating and implementing physical databases from Logical Data Models
* Experience with data management, versioning of data and backups

Required Skills:
* Certified and experienced in SQL Server
* Familiar with ACUIS 4th Dimension Database Application
* Ability to design, develop, and implement complex database systems
* Have thorough understanding of relational databases
* Ability to design and troubleshoot the data access layer of an application
* Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills and writing skill
