Title: Software Test Design Engineer

Location: San Jose CA

Period: 6 Months contract

 

Job Requirements

·         You must be customer-focused, resourceful, detail-oriented, adaptable, and flexible in a rapidly developed innovation project.

·         You should have excellent troubleshooting and triage skills, good teamwork, and the ability to multi-task on multiple short-term and long-term deliverables.

·         You must be a proactive and effective communicator, both verbally and in writing.

In addition:

·         At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Java software development or white-box test development.

·         Expertise with unit test frameworks such as PHP Unit and automation tools such as Selenium/TestNG

·         Experience injecting new test types into Continuous Integration system such as Jenkins.

·         Strong SQL knowledge including complex query design, and experience with relational databases such as Oracle (preferred), MySQL, or SQLServer.

·         Experience constructing high-yield test data from highly multi-dimensional table structures while working around limitations of production data.

·         Proficiency in a Unix/Linux environment.

·         Familiarity with Perl, XML, SOAP, and SOA testing concepts will be a plus.

·         Previous hands-on experience with PHP will be a plus.

·         Experience with Agile Scrum methodology will be a plus.

 

Education:

·         BSCS or BSEE or Other Related 4yr Technical Degree
