Overview:

 

The client is looking for a senior level SharePoint consultant who has extensive experience with custom development. The candidate  will support existing applications. In addition, the role will involve the development of new solutions using .NET and/or SharePoint technologies. He or she will have the ability to translate business requirements into solutions.

Requirements:

·         3+ years' of experience with SharePoint development preferably 2007 experience

·         3 + years of experience with .NET / C# framework

·         Strong experience with custom development

·         An understanding of formal software development methodologies (SDLC) is important, and experience in a large organization

·         Considerable experience with Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content Management, Business Process and Forms, and/or Business Intelligence, including the ability to seamlessly integrate with other corporate data sources, applications and systems.

·         Experience optimizing SharePoint content for indexing and searching, including the management of content tagging

·         Microsoft SQL Server development experience

·         Knowledgeable in MS Office tools (Access, Excel, Word and Power Point), MS Project, and Visio

• Experience mentoring Jr. Team members
• Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator and listener.
• Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of this project

 

Education:

 

Requires Bachelor's degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent and five to seven years of related experience.
