Summary:
The SAP Aii Consultant - Serialization engages in challenging and professionally rewarding opportunities in a wide range of activities in working with electronic track & trace technologies (such as serialization) – from concept development to real-life implementation – to increase product security in the supply chain as well as to enhance business practices and ensure regulatory compliance.
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:
• Engage closely with a cross-functional team to define objectives and direction for using Track & Trace technologies at corporate- and functional-level
• Develop workable approach and plan for meeting Track & Trace regulatory mandates as well as business-driven needs
• Develop requirements and translate them into new business process (including the areas of packaging, warehousing & distribution, and supply chain collaboration) and conduct gap analysis
• Investigate the areas that the business that can potentially be enhanced through track & trace technologies and make recommendations
• Interact closely with working members of the internal team, supply chain partners (including contract manufacturers, third-party logistics services providers and customers), and technology and services vendors in planning and execution of Track & Trace projects.
• Advise the stakeholders on regulatory landscape, industry trends, and best practices in Track & Trace
• Document results, prepare presentations, and present to the stakeholder team
• At times manage project scope, budget, and resources to ensure delivery is on target.
• Hands on configuration of Aii & OER
Knowledge/Skill Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Systems Analysis or other related field
• Expertise in technical systems for enabling serialization (including SAP OER and AII)
• A minimum of 5 + years of experience in the appropriate functional area
• Focused SAP applications experience with a demonstrated competency in developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems
• Prior experience in implementation of serialization programs.
• Subject matter expertise in Track & Trace technologies, such as product serialization using barcode and RFID, electronic pedigree, and product authentication.
• Expertise in GS1 and other standards for serialization
• Experience in pharmaceutical supply chain preferred
• Hands-on experience integrating SAP with other applications and technologies.
• Proven awareness and understanding of Interface best practices.
• A passion for learning and understanding new technologies.
• Ability to understand and communicate the interrelationships and impact of technologies
