*Must pass a drug test and background check once offered the position*
Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
Test system modifications to prepare for implementation.
Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability.
Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers.
Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content.
Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes.
Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
Key skills include:
1. Experience with Quality Center
2. Experience with Excel 2003 (used to run macros)
3. Test Planning, Execution, and Coordination
- emphasis on User Acceptance Testing
- Test case development and execution
4. Experience with both automated and manual testing
5. Ability to communicate and work effectively in a cross-functional environment, involving both business and technology team members.
Some "nice to have's" would include:
- Previous pharmacy testing experience
- Ability to shift role as required. This will be part of a team of about four to six primary testers - and one of our goals is to create a level of redundancy across our testers so that we can shift resources according to our progress and resource needs.
