Title: Programmer – Analyst Senior

Location: Lansing, MI

Duration: 12 months Contract

 

Required Skills:

·         Minimum 8 years of analysis, design, programming, testing, implementing and supporting web based applications in the Microsoft Windows platform. (must have worked on at least 3 full SDLC projects)

·         Minimum 5 years in designing, developing, and implementation of web applications (using ASP.NET).

·         Minimum 5 years of application development using the Microsoft C#.NET  and/or VB.NET and ASP.NET programming language. 

·         Minimum 2 years with .NET Framework 3.5 or higher.

·         Minimum 5 years in developing systems with Microsoft SQL Server, of which at least one year is SQL Server 2008.

·         Minimum 3 years in writing Structured Query Language (SQL) and stored procedures in Microsoft SQL 2005 or higher.

·         Minimum 3 years in writing SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages.

·         Minimum 5 years in developing reports with a report development/authoring tool.

·         Knowledge of systems development methodology utilized in the development of new systems and enhancements, UML, configuration management, standard software lifecycle processes, structured programming methodology, relational database, support utilities, personal computers and personal computer software. 

·         Knowledge/Training in XML, ADO.Net, SMTP, SOAP, Web Services, HTTP/HTTPS.

·         Good oral and written communication skills, and ability to organize and present information.

 

Desired Skills:

·         Experience in developing with Microsoft Visual Studio (using VB).

·         Experience in developing web applications with classic ASP.

·         Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server.

·         Experience developing reports with Microsoft Reporting Services, of which at least one year is Reporting Services 2005 or higher.

·         Experience developing reports with Active PDF toolkit.

·         Experience in a project with a large scale data conversion effort using Microsoft SQL as the source database.

·         Experience interfacing with technology leadership as well as the business client.
