QA Engineer - Providence, RI

  Looking for QA Engineers to test code developed using VB6 to make sure there is a smooth transition converting it over to a .NET Silverlight/WPF platform.

  

Required:

• Functional testing, all Manual

• Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Microsoft Test Manager, MS- Visual Studio Team System (VSTS)

• Data conversion testing

• Agile methodology

• Experience in building manual testing components, executing the associated test scripts and documenting invalid conditions,

• Proficiency in building and executing SQL queries in support of testing needs to find and validate certain data, test case and Quality Center

• Experience in the software testing of multi-tier client/server applications

• Ability to understand software development framework, architecture concepts, and terminology
