Title : JavaScript/UI Developer
Location: Boston, MA
Duration: 3 ~ 4 months to start with but definitely will be extended to 6 months


Description:
The JavaScript/UI Developer will be responsible for implementing a collection of data-driven applications. The developer will be responsible for taking mockups and screen comps and converting them into applications and application components using HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
 
This developer may also take part in user-centered design sessions to identify technical concerns and aid in the creation of high-fidelity prototypes.
 
Required skills
- At least 5 years of work experience in general web application development, with 3+ years of front end development, including strong command of semantic markup and table-free layouts
- Minimum of 5+ years' experience in web development and presentation layer design/coding
- Advanced HTML skills (including HTML5)
- Advanced CSS skills (including CSS3)
- Advanced JavaScript (including DOM, jQuery, AJAX, Closures, Callbacks, and JavaScript debugging)
- Good understanding of user-interface and web application design patterns (MVC, MVVM, Model-Driven, etc.)
- Excellent grasp of Web Standards and why we should develop for them
- Unix/Linux development experience
- Experience with Subversion or other version control systems
