C#.NET/WPF/Silverlight Developer - Boston, MA

 

Client seeking motivated individuals who enjoy working in a challenging environment directly with professionals. 

 

Responsibilities:

• Candidate must work closely with business users, and to identify where to enhance the investment process
• Define and design technical solutions
• Implement applications based on the solutions.
• Work closely with users to test and integrate the applications into the current environment

Requirements:

• Extensive work with .NET, C#, WPF, WCF, WinForms, ASP
• Minimum 5 years of demonstrated success developing middle-tier applications in C#
• Minimum 3 years of demonstrated success developing multithreaded WPF and Silverlight applications in C#
• Minimum 4 years of experience with database development for SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Solid and demonstratable understanding of robust software engineering principles including application security, performance, fault tolerance, and maintainability
• Self-Starter, able to work as part of a small team as well as independently, with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills - both written and oral
• Must be detail-oriented and able to priortize work and effectively manage multiple tasks
• Mathematics or analytical background would be a plus
• Undergraduate degree
• Candidate should have some database development experience
• Working knowledge of Agile development
