OBIEE Developer
Location :Basking Ridge - NJ
Duration: 8+months


Job Responsibilities (Day to day duties)
• Resource will develop high level design, detailed designs for the reporting platform.
• Design and develop the OBIEE Dashboard report including guages, graphs and charts
• Involve in OBIEE modeling with both OLAP and ROLAP data sources
• Interact with end users to solidify requirements and incorporate them into the reporting solution
• The candidate will be required to architect the BI platform, analyze pros and cons of the various architecture decisions and make/implement the BI recommendation.

Job/Technical Requirements
• 7+ years of IT experience with more than 3 yrs of business intelligence/OLAP/EPM/reporting experience.
• Must be proficient with OBIEE (or Siebel analytics), OBIEE+, BI Publisher and Smartview.
• Experience with Hyperion Essbase and Financial Management is a definite plus.
• The candidate will be required to architect the BI platform, analyze pros and cons of the various architecture decisions and make/implement the BI recommendation.
• Candidate should have experience on Unix/Linux platform.
• Must be a good team player and detailed oriented, resourceful, motivated and creative
• Flexible, organized and able to handle competing priorities
• Sound, logic based decision making
• Excellent communications skills, verbal and written
• Work collaboratively and cross-functionally as part of a team as well as an independently
• Work proactively and reactively
• Recognize areas of opportunity and make recommendations for improvement
• Assess conflicting priorities and prioritize appropriately
• Communicate at all levels of the organization including IT and customer senior management
• Identify issues to leads and/or management and provide possible solutions
• Provide timely and accurate status on job assignments
• Bachelor's Degree at a minimum, preferably a Master's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering
• Must supply Laptop

Top 5 or Less Requirements
• 7+ years of IT experience with more than 3 yrs of business intelligence/OLAP/EPM/reporting experience.
