Job Title: .NET Developer

Location: Houston, TX 

Mode of Hire: 7 Months Contract

Client: Direct Client

Relevant Experience Required: 5+ years

 

Primary Skill:

• Experience in Linux, PHP, & Open source frameworks is required

 

Job Description:

 

Technical/Functional Skills:

• Experience in Linux, PHP, & Open source frameworks is required.

• Knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, SOAP, Web Services, LINQ, WCF, Java, LINQ

• Knowledge of HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript is required.

Experience working with Relational Databases like Sql Server and Oracle is required.
• Experience with JSON services, WCF services, RESTful services is preferred
• 5+ years of .NET development experience in IT organization is required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develops software for the applications from design to implementation phases of the project life cycle.
• Support and troubleshoot software systems as required, optimizing performance, resolving problems, and providing follow-up on all issues and solutions.
• Complete comprehensive unit testing on all developed/enhanced software.
• Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of development methodologies, software design and design patterns, integration standards as well as its applicability at coding and testing cycles.
• Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of software engineering best practices such as: versioning and versioning control, software packaging and software release management.

Job Description:

Oracle Certified - 11g or 10g OCP

 

Job Description:

Experience Required:

·         Experience of developing UNIX Shell scripts for routine checks on database and backup.

·         Good exposure to Database Performance tuning and SQL tuning.

·         Experience in planning and implementing the Backup using Data pump.

·         Having good concepts and implementation of technologies like Data Guard, ASM, RMAN, Upgradation, Cloning configuration etc.

·         Having good knowledge of RAC & Active/passive Clustering.

·         Having hands-on Patching, Non-ASM to ASM migration experience.

·         Experience in raising SR (tar) with metalink (My Oracle Support).

·         High level of flexibility and adaptability, and excellent communicator with exceptional talent for problem solving through reasoned thought processes.
