Travel Airline 3 Solution – Deployment & Automation Engineer We are looking for a deployment specialist for our Travel Airline 3.0 development team. With support from our software operations team the candidate will coordinate the design, implementation and realization of our performance lab and automated performance tests for our Travel Airline 3.0 solution. The candidate will aggregate the test results report on areas for improvement back to the engineering team and repeat the tests against multiple documented configuration topologies in both virtual and bare metal environments. Second to the performance test activities, the candidate will also direct and supplement the automation test team in the development of automated acceptance tests as well as supporting the setup of a Selenium 2 Grid for the automated and continuous parallel testing of multiple browsers and browser versions in our CI environment.
Required Skills:
• Selenium 2 – WebDriver & Grid Mode
• Tomcat web application deployment
• Proficiency in designing and implementing web application performance tests that mimic real-world transactions
• Proficiency in using CI tools - Hudson or Jenkins
• Java and JUnit for acceptance test development
• VMWare ESX, vCenter, vCenter and/or LabManager
Preferred Skills:
• Medium to large scale Tomcat deployment optimizations
• Tomcat clustering
• SpringSource Hyperic Experience
• TcServer Experience
• Experience with ActiveMQ
