Required Skills

·         PMP Certification. Please include certification number and date of certification.

·         Experience managing IT project(s)

o   Applications

o   Infrastructure

o   Standards and Procedures

·         Demonstrated hands-on ability to perform or manage work in one or more of the above areas is required

·         Prior demonstrated ability to achieve and accomplish set goals is important

·         Ability to work with vendors

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·         Ability to work with a variety of technical and business managers and staff

·         Excellent leadership and negotiation skills.

·         Experience with Microsoft Project.

·         Experience with Microsoft Office products.

Preferred Skills:

·         Public sector experience as a project manager or within a program area.

·         Human services experience as a project manager.

·         Experience and familiarity with both IBM mainframe and Microsoft web based .NET environments.

·         Experience working with technical programming teams.

·         Experience with network infrastructure projects

·         Take-charge, can-do attitude

·         Negotiation, mediation skills

·         Facilitation skills
