 Business Objects Developer/Analyst

Minnetonka, MN

We are looking for a report analyst/developer with Business Objects experience to work with the Data team. Use your analytical skills to work with other Access to Data team members to design/develop, program, maintain and publish queries and reports to support our government and military treatment facility customers. You must be self-directed and creative to deal with interesting and complex issues. As a key resource to others you must maintain a high degree of accuracy along with attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

Primary responsibilities:
Produce complex 'ad-hoc' queries and reports requested by external and internal customers using Business Objects
Design and develop data extracts from source SQL databases to meet analytics and reporting request
Partner directly with internal and external customers to research and troubleshoot data questions and issues
Collaborate on problem resolution, team decisions and project planning
Monitor plan dates and meet individual deliverables as well as support other team members to ensure project success

Required Qualifications:
5+ years of data analysis and report development experience
2+ years reporting experience with Business Objects
3+ years SQL query writing
Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to pass a National Agency Check (NAC).

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous Healthcare Insurance industry experience
Experience with software development life cycle management (i.e. Business Requirements, Technical Documentation, Quality Assurance)
Experience with SSRS, COGNOS, SAS, or similar reporting tools
SSIS Experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g. Pivot Tables, Macros)
National Agency Check (NAC) Clearance
BA/BS in MIS, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business or a related field
