Basic Qualifications and Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in any of the following languages or technologies: Java, PHP, .NET, JavaScript
• 1+ years of application design and development experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Responsive Design / HTML5 with experience CSS and Bootstrap
• Modern JavaScript Patterns including: MV* with AngularJS, Grunt tasks, The Module Pattern, IIFE's, and closures
• JVM-based languages and frameworks with experience in one of the following technologies – Grails, Play Framework
• Building and working with REST/HTTP web API's using Node.js
• Architecting appropriate Git workflows for a project
• 1+ years of experience with testing using TDD or BDD
• Experience with 1 or more testing frameworks (Mocha/Chai, Jasmine)

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Reusable widget design and development
• Continuous Integration servers and in building up one
• Work with an agile project team (either Agile by definition or agile in ability to perform cross-functional tasks quickly) – balance multiple projects and collaborating closely with other development teams
• Modern DevOps tools and workflows (e.g. Chef)
• Responsive Design, preferably with Twitter Bootstrap or Zurb Foundation
• CSS/CSS3. Knowledge of what works in specific browsers.
• Responsive CSS (Mobile First, Bootstrap)
• Semantic HTML and HTML5
• Code quality tools like JSHINT/JSLINT
• Node.js and Grunt customization
• Developing high performing client-side applications
• Understand the performance implications of various DOM interactions
