Job Title: Business Analyst IV

Location: Augusta, ME

Duration: 6 months (7/14 - 12/31)

 

Must have 8+ years of experience

 

 

Project Description:

 

The Consortium project is a multi-state project with Department of Labor. 

The UI Consortium Project will replace the Maine UI Benefits and Tax Systems with a new Software As a Service application residing in a cloud environment.  

There has been a need identified that the services of a Business Analyst is needed to perform  analysis  to determine what the printing needs will be for the project

 

 

 

Job Duties:

 

- Analyzes problems and operations in order to develop functional requirements for a proposed system including cost and time estimates for subsequent phases

- Gathers user information, verifies organizational needs, assists with planning work and/or performing technical design

- Confers with information technology staff, business specialists, vendors, and other project teams to assist in providing remediation activities in order to resolve potential problems

- Assists in/leads analysis of business processes/procedures and develops recommendations for process improvements in order to identify opportunities to enhance existing systems and processes.

- Conduct user acceptance testing

 

 

 

Required Experience:

 

- Agile/Scrum
