Job Title: SSRS Developer
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 12/19/2014
Location: Boise, ID

Job Description:

1.                  SSRS (someone with 3-5+ years experience; ability to work independently is a must)

2.                  Strong SQL skills (7+ years) 

3.                  Healthcare – payer/provider experience

 

Overview:

Familiarity with Facets would be a plus.

First 3 weeks on site in Boise… after they will be on site 50%. and  50% remote.  

Major Responsibilities/Activities:
* Utilizes Microsoft Business Intelligence based Tools, Services and Support (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, PPS/SP) for BI solutions
* Performs various coding, debugging and unit testing tasks in support of assigned project
* Provides ongoing maintenance and support for assigned applications and/or systems
* Participates in the estimation of work and provide input into the project plan for delivering that work
* Provides ongoing input to the establishment of programming standards and methodologies
* Applies current programming standards and methodologies to all relevant projects and activities
* Participates in training and mentoring of technical staff
* Develops ETL solutions using SQL Server Integration services (SSIS)
* Attains knowledge of the data warehouse, data mart models and the business information maintained in each
* Reconciles data and processing problems

Qualifications:
* Experience in creating dashboards and executive-level reports reports with Microsoft BI tools; SQL Server 2008/2012, Integration Services (SSIS), Analysis Services (SSAS), Reporting
Services (SSRS), and Multidimensional OLAP Reporting tools (MS Reporting Services, MS Excel-Pivot Tables, Performance Point Services), Visio, TFS, SQL Profiler, Query Analyzer, BIDS
2008/2010.
* Strong Experience with T-SQL, Stored Procedures, and development of complex queries.
* Motivated in keeping technology skills current through training, self-study and development
* Adhere to documentation, version control, testing and migration standards
* Strong understanding of the lifecycle of technical development from design to deployment
* Adhere to all standards and controls, and assist quality assurance activities before migration to production
* Contribute to a cooperative environment that fosters knowledge sharing
* Possesses a passion for designing and developing outstanding solution
