8+ years of experience with SQL Server overall
Experience in SQL Server 2008
SQL Profiler experience
Installation and Upgrade experience with SQL Server 2008
SQL Server Reporting Services a plus
SQL Server installation, patching, and upgrades
Strong knowledge backing up and recovering databases
SQL Server Database mirroring and SQL Clustering preferred
This is an SQL role largely responsible for providing operational database services to the organization.
Some of the primary responsibilities of this role would include owning, tackling and resolving database related incidents and requests, fulfilling requests and resolving incidents with a sense of urgency, leading and managing all database workload.
This position requires a service oriented mentality, high sense of ownership of the problems and request assigned, focus on managing and resolving issues while establishing and maintaining communication with the clients to keep them updated with status of their requests.
