ROLE:HADOOP DEVELOPER
LOCATION:HOUSTON TEXAS
DURATION 6 MONTHS CONTRACT WITH POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION

·         Solid knowledge of hadoop architecture and ecosystem(namenode, datanodes, jobtracker, task trackers, Hive, Pig, Flume, Hbase, etc)

·         Strong Java programming skills, experience with Python is a plus

·         Design, develop process to move data between premise and AWS. Configure and maintain AWS EMR environment as well as components in Hadoop ecosystem. Work on HBase design, data ETL using Hive or Shark or Pig.

·         Strong Linux experience including complex shell scripting

·         Hands on experience with integration between AWS services (EMR, EC2, S3) AND premise data source

·         Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant business discipline from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent work experience.
