| | Job Summary:
Senior Software Developer will be involved with a team in development of key business applications and systems using modern methodologies to meet business goals.
Primary Responsibilities/Objectives
You will work on the full life-cycle software development of our C# applications. You will be involved in gathering requirements, designing high quality software solutions, implementing code and unit tests with other developers, participating in peer review, test, release to the live environment, and maintain the application.
Experience with the following is required:
Expert in C# (3-5 years of .Net experience), experience with WCF, comfortable with SQL Server and must have ORM experience with nHibernate, Entity Framework, or preferably both.
Must have solid demonstrable WPF/XAML/MVVM experience - PRISM and use of Expression Blend desirable.
Developing client/server and distributed applications,
Full software development life cycle (SDLC), particularly using the Scrum methodology,
Creating specifications for developers, and other documentation as necessary,
Maintenance and debugging of existing applications.
Desirables:
Experience with porting or conversion of legacy Windows Forms applications to WPF is a plus.
TFS experience, particularly full ALM experience on the Microsoft technologies.
SSRS and SSIS experience.
Use of Infragistics controls with WPF.
Personal Qualities:
Experience developing in a team environment
Strong communication skills
Approachable and willing to offer helpful solutions
Ability to search relentlessly for better solutions
Should handle constructive feedback well
Education and Job Knowledge:
Bachelors in Computer Science or Engineering and 5+ years of IT software development work experience desired. | |
