 Web Configuration Manager                                   

5 month Contract

Minnetonka

*Must pass a drug test and background check once offered the position*

 

 

Configuration Management, Build and Deployment:

Design, build, or maintain web sites, using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools, and digital media.

Perform or direct web site updates.

Write, design, or edit web page content, or direct others producing content.

Confer with management or development teams to prioritize needs, resolve conflicts, develop content criteria, or choose solutions.

Identify and correct problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback

Evaluate code to ensure that it is valid, is properly structured, meets industry standards and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.

Analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.

 

Strong knowledge and skills with:

• Managing SVN branching, tagging and locking.

• Working knowledge of AnthillPro. Setting up build tasks, etc.

• understanding of websphere (manual deployment, start/stop applications, servers, etc)

• Basic debug skills in order to debug issues as they arise

• Packaging Andriod and iOS client side packages for internal and external distribution. (Packages get sent to Apple and Google for general distribution.)

 

Required Skills:

• Understanding of version control system and branching

• Understanding of build processes (ant/maven/POM)

• Understanding of application server environment (JBoss, Websphere, Tomcat, etc.)

• Understand and setting up ITG workflow for deployments

• working knowledge on Artifactory

• Working experience on IBM websphere v7 console

• Working knowledge on WAS resources configurations

• working experience on Linux/Unix commands

• env support

• release support
