Responsibilities : 

Ø  The Software Engineer is assigned to a specific software solution and is responsible for writing code to meet user interface specifications. 

Ø  Responsibilities also include defining user needs, providing input to functional design, testing and troubleshooting.                                                 

Qualifications : 

Minimum Qualifications:

Ø  Bachelor's degree in IT related field

Ø  5+ years of experience and proficient in website technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Ø  3+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails

Ø  Full understanding of cross-browser rendering capabilities

Ø  Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (Jquery, YUI, etc.)

Ø  Understanding of common website workflows, concepts and user experience patterns

Ø  Live or willing to relocate to the Kansas City area

Preferred Qualifications :  

Ø  Experience in one or more web application frameworks (Rails, Grails, DJango, Spring, Python)

Ø  Familiarity and experience with Photoshop, Fireworks and Illustrator

Ø  Knowledge of website traffic analysis techniques, SEO, and usability testing processes

Ø  Demonstrable experience in building and supporting websites

Ø  Previous experience deploying large, highly scalable websites

Ø  Selenium and automated testing experience
