Soft Skills:

 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and Presentation skills.

 

 

Key skills required: (in the order of priority)

 

Primary Skill:  Data networking Implementation Engineer.

 

Technology Expertise:

 

• Data networking. 

 

 Roles and Responsibility:

 

• 4-7 years' experience installing & support of 6500k Switches with VSS technology
• Work as an engineer and assist with all implementation activities such as hardware/software installation, testing, deployment etc.
• Core area of expertise has to be in Data, Switching and routing.
• Timely escalations and reporting of issues and deviations to the Project Managers.
• Addressing of Customer/Project issues pro-actively, Responsiveness to customer queries/mails.
• Should have worked on the following technologies with proven ability:

Ø  Switching 37k, 29k, and 65k and routing.

Ø  IOS upgrade

Ø  Tools (Sniffer, Syslog's, Solar Winds, RTMT and Reporting tools etc.) 

Ø  Documentation (Questionnaires, Req. gathering templates, CR, Ticket Tracking, Handover docs, HLD, LLD, Test Reports, Handover docs., etc. )
