Job Description

Experience/Skills

• 3+ years experience in Weblogic, Jboss, apache, Iplanet/SunOne technology
• Well expertise in Unix and Solaris environments
• Good knowledge in Shell and Perl scripting
• Experience in troubleshooting or real time exceptions handlings, clustering, deployments, installations of weblogic or Jboss
• Experience in configuring Apache or SunOne web servers
• Good exposure on backend technology of middleware applications and network configurations or architecture
• Familiar with ITIL Policies and procedures
• Work experience in load balancers, monitoring and ticketing tools
• Easy to adopt to new environments in middleware platform
• Very good communication skill both oral and written

Roles and Responsibility

 

• All administration task of middleware applications servers (like weblogic, Jboss, ATG)
• Installation and configuration of new apache or iplanet web servers
• Installation and configuration of Weblogic, Jboss and ATG domains
• Deployment of applications and services across all the environments (Production and PreProduction)
• Setup of new environments as per the project team requirements
• Daily tasks in unix environments like purging file systems, creation/deletion/modification of accounts, etc
• Troubleshooting the real time exceptions in Weblogic, Jboss and ATG applications
• Coordinating with external vendors as per client standards.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and flexible for shifts
• Willing to learn new technologies and tools to support the client environment
• Thorough on quality process / SLA management / handling escalations
• Highly self-motivated and directed with strong customer service orientation
