Responsibilities
* Design and Development of enhancements / new functionality to CMC Portals
* Design and Development of enhancements / new functionality to the CMC Batch process
Required Skills
* Strong Java programming (JDK1.5 or higher) experience
* Strong database skills working with Sybase (version ASE 12.x, ASE 15.x) and SQL Server (Version 2008)
* Strong experience with Eclipse IDE, Maven Build Tool (Version 1 and 2), AntilHill Pro, Subversion (Source Code management), Spring Batch Version 2.0.x
* Experience in creating Unit tests using JUnit or other tools
* 4 - 5 years of experience in developing enterprise scale Java applications – Web and batch processing
* Experience with Hibernate or similar technologies
* Good understanding of Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) concepts, UML artifacts
* Self starter, highly motivated individual, strong team player
* Good communication and inter personal skills
* Able to work with minimal supervision
Preferred Skills
* Experience in using Design Patterns
* Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts
* Experience in Agile Software development methodologies
* Hands-on experience with Web Sphere Application Server (WAS version 6.x), JBoss (version 4.x) (local App server)
* Experience with ORACLE (10g), Altova MapForce (EDI Mapping tool)
* Experience in .NET related technologies (ASP.NET, MVC etc.)
