Job Description | We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer serving as a process improvement leader for the Development department, responsible for identifying areas for improvements, implementing process improvements, and ensuring long term compliance.
Requirements The ideal candidate will be dedicated to developing routine tests, and coordinating the testing effort. This position will work with Developers and Product Managers to develop, maintain, and execute quality assurance testing procedures.
Primary responsibilities include: • Participating in project planning and project meetings. • Providing guidance to Product Verification, System Analysis and Plan's members • Completing and documenting technical design and documents • Reporting status/issues in a timely and accurate manner, at the discretion of BCBSA. • Reviewing system use cases, business requirements, and/or functional specifications, and • identify potential problems, omissions, and open issues. • Developing and executing formal Unit and Integration testing • Responsible for development, enhancement and defect fixing Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field, or equivalent work experience in similar work environment. • Minimum 9 years of IT work experience. • Development background and hands on experience in development. |
Location | HP Development Center, Downers Grove, IL, with occasional visits to the BCBSA office at 225 N. Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL |
