Major Responsibilities:

SQL Server 2008
• 6+ years of experience with Administration of SQL Server 2008, backup, recovery, Replication, Logshipping, Clustering, performance tuning, migration & security management.
• Ability to write custom stored procedures for automation purposes.

Windows Server 2008
• Windows administration & troubleshooting skills required.

IIS 7.0
• Knowledge of IIS 6.0 or 7.0, Installation, configuration, App Pools, SSL, managing web farms and troubleshooting skills are required.

Networking skills
• Troubleshooting network related issues.
Others
• Knowledge of Load Balancing solutions such as BIGIP, WLBS.
• Knowledge of Monitoring tools such as SCOM or any other.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Experience with scripting concepts and techniques would be a strong plus such as VBScript or PowerShell.
