It appears we need a developer with Silverlight experience to assist with an on-going project.  Right now, we anticipate we will require their assistance for about 4 weeks in a part-time capacity – 20 hours/week.

 

Below is the job description/requirements:

 

Must be able to read the Data from the Database by virtue of developing Domain Object Components in the middle tier or server side.
  
Must have experience with Data Access Components
 - Designed and developed applications using design patterns

 - Designed Object Oriented business & data components

 - Designed and developed framework components is a plus
 
Requirements:

·         8+ years of IT experience is required

·         4+ years developing enterprise-class web applications utilizing .NET technologies (ASP.NET, ADO.NET, and C#)

·         1+ year experience with Silverlight and implemented at least one project.

·         2+ years experience with SQL Server database development.

·         Experience in designing as well as developing application & framework components

·         Experience with all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

·         Experience in Object Oriented Programming & Design Patterns

·         Demonstrates a sense of urgency, thoroughness and quality towards assigned tasks/goals

·         Self motivated person and work best in a team environment

·         Must have Designed and developed applications using design patterns

·         Designed Object Oriented business & data components

·         Designed and developed framework components is a plus

Description:
• Design, develop, test, debug, and implement Silverlight based applications.
• Follow company's architecture & coding standards and suggest improvements where needed.
• Assist in the creation of documentation and test plans for new system development.
• Keep current with industry trends including architecture design, emerging technologies and best practices.
• Document functional, technical specifications, and test plans as needed.
