Job Title: Sr.Systems Analyst
Location: Raleigh, NC
Duration: 6+ Months
Basic Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years direct, hands-on experience as a Computer Systems Analyst
• In-depth knowledge of business systems, regulations and processes and their interaction and how they apply to technology in the applicable area(s).
• Ability to exercise creative and critical thinking in evaluating complex situations and developing solutions.
• Experience in integrating technical, business process, and organizational change readiness components in a cross-functional or enterprise project
• Detail oriented and capable of producing required requirements artifacts
• Skills in facilitation, problem solving and conflict management
• Strong verbal and written communications skills with the ability to communicate across functional areas
• Deep capacity for demanding and stressful project work
• Experience developing RFPs for information technology products and services and supporting business functions
• Experience soliciting and managing feedback from stakeholders
• Experience soliciting technical requirements that support Websites, Hosting and Maintenance
• Experience soliciting technical requirements that support software interfaces
• Experience soliciting technical requirements that support Disaster Recovery, System performance, SLAs and System Security
Preferences:
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools
• Minimum of 10 years experience
• Sharepoint and/or JIRA experience
• Experience with the State's business and functional requirements processes
• Knowledge of financial processing applications
• Knowledge of the health insurance industry
• Knowledge of HIPAA transaction standards and the National Information Exchange Model (NIEM)
• Knowledge of Medicaid and experience working with CMS
• Experience running Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions
• Experience with financial, call center, insurance/benefits enrollment, and/or public program eligibility systems
• Knowledge of Cúram Software
• Experience with Service Oriented Architecture constructs for data transfer and interfaces between mainframes and mainframe to servers and distributed server environments in a statewide envir
