The Scrum Master I leads and influences the Team according to their needs and to follow Scrum. The ScrumMaster has experience with the Scrum framework, Scrum values, Agile principles and values in the Agile manifesto and coaches others on the subtleties. The position partners with the product owner to ensure the right deliverables are planned.  Ultimately, the ScrumMaster actively embraces that Scrum is practiced inside the Team in order to maximize product delivery/business value and protects the team from subtle interruptions and diversions.  

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
• 2-4 years in a lead role on projects, scrum teams, and/or business lead initiatives
• Demonstrated experience leading people
• Demonstrated experience with incremental work delivery
• Understand software development processes and procedures
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Product Owner (CPO), Certified Scrum Developer (CSD), or equivalent Agile certification

 

Other Critical Factors:

• Knowledgeable of common Agile practices, such as test driven development, pair programming, continuous integration, Kanban, etc.
• Experienced with work tracking systems and Scrum management tools. Understand how to leverage tools for the benefit of the team.
• Strong leadership skills demonstrated by delivering the right results
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
