Location: Raleigh, NC.

Job Description & Skills :
 

• Must have current, hands-on experience supporting all aspects of network, firewall, IP telephony and wireless networking
• Dedicated direct, hands-on Cisco ASA firewall platform installation, configuration, administration, support and performance monitoring and tuning.
• Expert on Cisco Layer 2 and 3 switching infrastructure, including but not limited to Cisco 6500 Series Enhanced core switches, 4500, 3850, 3750, 2960.
• Expert on all aspects of switch configuration including, but not limited to VLAN and VLAN ACL's, QoS, secure management, monitoring and administration
• Expert understanding of firewall rules, object groups, rule consolidation, security zoning, PAT, NAT addressing, IP subnetting and super netting,
• Strong and demonstrated ability to analyze firewall communication requirements and construct rulesets to provide/prevent system access.
• Must be able to work independently on multiple tasks and projects.
• Must be able to prioritize tasks and projects and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent oral communication and writing skills with the ability to interact with upper management and business stakeholders.
• Must be able to work as a leader or as a part of a small team providing input and guidance regarding technical issues.
• Current Cisco CCNP Routing and Switching certification required.
• Current Cisco CCNP Security certification required.
• Current CCIE Security Certification preferred.
• Current Cisco CCIE Routing and Switching certification preferred.
