Salesforce.com Developer
6 Month Contract

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Developer codes, tests, and debugs on Company projects, as well as revises and updates programs and documentation as required. This position services client projects in programming Salesforce.com custom components and mobile applications to ensure the client's technical needs are met according to highest standards.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Responsible for coding, testing and debugging for back-end web technical programming deliverables on Company project(s) as assigned. Projects will focus on programming Salesforce.com custom components and mobile applications.
•    Create prototypes for client engagements
•    Design, code, and test technical solutions
•    Understand the necessity of and contribute to coding standards
•    Demonstrate proficiency in one or more programming language-"back-end" or server-side languages
•    Identify and document system deficiencies and recommend solutions
•    Complete assignments within appropriate timeline and budget
•    Communicate project status to management
•    Elevate project concerns to appropriate internal project sponsors

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
•    Prior experience with object-oriented languages
•    Experience with Apex, Visualforce and SOQL required
•    Accountable for certain project deliverables, and that all deliverables meet technical requirements and client expectations
•    Understand technical and functional design requirements
•    Assist in enforcement of development deadlines and schedules
•    Demonstrate the ability to cooperate with a variety of people and achieve results
•    Anticipate client needs before they arise and present possible solutions or recommendations
•    Manage and maintain a collaborative working relationship with clients and consistently deliver high-quality services
•    Improvement to and maintenance of Technical Services Practice Area processes and templates
•    Prioritize multiple tasks effectively
•    Prior mobile application experience, iOS or Android, desired
