12mo Contract
Eden Prairie, MN


Required Qualifications:

IT experience (5+ years) developing and providing software development support for PeopleSoft. Includes authoring technical designs, performing root cause analysis, data and process analysis, code documentation, and code reviews
Strong PeopleSoft application experience in FSCM 9.0 or higher
PeopleTools experience in 8.5X or higher
Experience leading portions or all of work unit/elements for PeopleSoft patching or upgrade projects (Application and/or PeopleTools)
2+ years of senior or lead developer experience

Desired Qualifications:

Strong PeopleSoft application development experience preferably FSCM 9.2 (modules desired: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Assets)
Creation and review of Technical Designs, unit testing, bundling / un-bundling of code using PeopleTools 8.53
Experience leading PeopleSoft development team of employees and consultants with analysis, design, development and testing support
Thorough understanding of the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and IT systems architecture including hardware and software
Experience in evaluating business requirement documents and functional specifications
An advanced understanding of best-practice PeopleSoft systems design, development, and modification techniques is required
Familiarity with PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM)
Expert PeopleTools 8.5X which includes:
PeopleCode
Application Designer
Application Engine
Data Mover
Component Interface
Integration Broker
Process Scheduler
Structured Query Reporter (SQR)
XML Publisher
Expert knowledge of PS security
Strong knowledge understanding of Oracle DB , underlying data structures, and entity relationship models, and SQL query creation
Integration with Ariba P2P On Demand applications
Experience with performance tuning of PS Application
Experienced STAT version control/ Phire Architect
Knowledge of TWS job scheduler and SFTP

Responsibilities:

Responsible for hands-on development, management and implementation of change requests to PeopleSoft 9.2 Financials (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Assets)
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to other team members and teams through active knowledge sharing
Mentoring, coaching and guidance to junior offshore developers
Responsible for development of new processes and custom enhancements to existing code, application patches/fixes/upgrades
Work in a functional/technical capacity providing technical and functional expertise to business and various IT Teams
Responsible for overseeing of environment setups including demo, build, test, production
Partner with Business and Systems analysts, Administrators, and Quality Assurance teams to support configurations, code customizations, code migrations, and testing from System, Integration, User Acceptance and performance
Work with IT development team to troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis of issues
