Location: New York, NY.

Job Description & Skills :
 

• This position is for a Java developer to analyze, design and implement components in Java, Tibco Business Works and SQL Server
• Expert Java developer with experience in a financial environment including multi-threading and Unix/Linux shell scripting. Strong knowledge of XML schemas, documents and XML processing required.
• Strong design skills and experience working with high-volume data sets and high-throughput messaging and batch systems.
• Experience using an integration platform (such as Business Works, Informatica etc). 
• General understanding of the finance markets and financial products.
• Experience working with trading/front office systems; Credit Risk; Market Risk or Regulatory Reporting systems.
• Good knowledge of one relational database server, preferably SQL Server. Able to implement tables, views, stored procedures and write SQL statements.
