Title: Disaster Recovery Analyst

 

Summary:  Responsible for defining requirements and validating configuration of applications supporting critical business units and applications that are dependent or require the DMZ build out. Works with project team to define technology solution, planning and testing for Disaster Recovery, including technology assessment and ensuring solution is aligned with DR Strategy definition and solution design consulting are key responsibilities for all DR engagements.

Work Experience:
• Overall IT professional experience 6+ year
• At least 4+ year Disaster Recovery Planning and Technology solution designing experience

Responsibilities:
• Conducting Technology Impact Assessment, availability and Continuity risk assessment of critical technology assets
• Defining DR Technology Solution Strategies
• Recovery Technology solution evaluation with various infrastructure Technology domains
• Determining DR Technology solutions, Recovery Plans and Implementation Roadmap
• DR Plan creation and maintenance
• DR Plan implementation and recovery testing

Required:
• Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering or related, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work independently and to take emergent decisions on one's own.
• Should have undergone specialized training / Certification in Disaster Recovery & Management.
• Should be well conversant with Servers, Network, including DMZ infrastructure, Security, Storage, Backup and Virtualization Technology domains
• Superior Communication & Presentation Skills
• IT Service Management Processes awareness
• Technology Certifications would be an added advantage.
