Max Rate is $36.00

Length 6 months+

Job Description:

This Project Manager position will be responsible for developing and organizing the project schedule and interacting with the other EPI project managers, vendors and Executive TDOH leadership.  The Project Schedule will be in strict accordance with the Project Charter and contract documents.  The contractor will need to have 3 or more years of project management experience, experience using MS Project to manage project tasks and schedules.  Knowledge and experience with PMBOK project management methodology and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) implementation/support is desired.

Description of Duties:

-Develop and organize a project schedule, interact with other EPI Project Managers to develop and update the master project schedule, update the schedule and evaluate project progress, identify variances from the original plan and escalate, interact with business customers, vendor, State IT and Executive State Staff.

-Interact with the vendor to schedule and manage related project tasks, Interact with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts to verify and validate requirements in the Request for Proposals, Identify and analyze changes in project scope; work with State staff to create change control requests, Report progress to the Project Director.

-Interact with the vendor and state UAT Team to schedule and manage related tasks, Oversee UAT efforts, Work with the State UAT Team and the vendor to analyze and prioritize correction of defects uncovered during UAT, Report UAT progress to the Project Director.
