IT Systems Analyst
7 Month contract
Eden Prairie, MN
In this role, you will be working with business customers to fulfill Human Capital business requirements through innovative technology solutions. The Systems Analyst is responsible for development projects within the PeopleSoft HCM application, including enhancing delivered functionality and adding new functionality. The Enterprise Resource Planning Analyst works in a project-based structure with duties evolving throughout the phases of the software development lifecycle including: requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Gathers and evaluates business requirements
• Prepares design specifications that meet business requirements most efficiently with least impact on the delivered software
• Builds strong and trusted relationships with stakeholders
• Analyzes and revises functional documentation
• Generates innovative ideas to resolve problems
• Responsible for meeting or exceeding all defined target goals and milestone dates for the project in order to ensure its overall success
Required Qualifications:
• 3+ years experience with PeopleSoft HCM
• 3+ years experience as a systems analyst, including writing of technical designs and technical unit test
• Fluency with PeopleTools
• Is a team player, bringing a positive attitude as well as the desire and ability to work with teammates continually and successfully
• High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years of relevant experience OR Bachelor's Degree required
Preferred Qualifications:
• Proficiency with MS Office (Including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
• Proficiency with MS Project
• Proficiency with MS Visio
