Here are the requirement details

 Cassandra DBA

3 positions

Location Options: Dallas, TX or San Francisco, CA or Seattle, WA, or St. Louis MO (please indicate preference on submittal)

Max Rate: $65/hr -  no flexibility

H1-B are ok

1 year contract

 

CASSANDRA:  Can't just be in the summary - If the candidates truly have the experience, I would urge them to update/tailor the resumes to show it.

 

Also, I realize that a more detailed description for the Cassandra roles might be helpful.  Here is what I have:

 

·        Experience in building and deploying clusters of Cassandra is a must.

·        An in-depth understanding of the current No SQL landscape (open source and commercial), architecture and usage is a must.

·        Experience in configuring the REST and other APIs and scaling the support for Cassandra is a must

·        Experience in working on Linux/Windows clusters is a must.

·        Good understanding of storage, networking and virtualization is a must.

·        Experience in using virtual Cassandra appliances for VMware, Hyper-V or KVM environments will be a plus.

·       

 

Key required skills:

·        Cassandra :  deep skills in DataBase administration and/or Architecture                                                        

·        Linux (P2 - Proficient)

·        NoSQL (P2 - Proficient)"
