Title: DB2 DBA
Location : Freeport ,Maine
Duration : Initially be 3 months but could extend up to 12 months based on performance.
Have an immediate need for a DBA - DB2 LUW (Linux/Unix/Windows) on our Business Transformation Project - Realization Phase (Business Intelligence Team).
This role requires a Senior DBA for DB2 LUW for Linux/Unix/Windows.
Experience with large, parallel processing, DB2 Data Warehouse environment.
Activities to include standard table creation, but also data partitioning, advanced optimization, and integrated workload management.
Must have:
Experience in a large DB2 data warehouse environment.
Experience with Data Partitioning Feature (DPF) and parallel processing.
Experience with advanced optimization – MDCs, MQTs, etc.
Experience with the integrated Workload Manager (WLM)
Nice to have:
Experience with V10.n
