Overview:

Consultant has strong in WLAN architecture, design and configuration. They must be capable of leading,  this must be an experienced DELIVERY person.  The Wireless Data Engineer will be responsible for wireless configuration, implementation of wireless solutions, and remote troubleshooting. The Wireless Data Engineer is expected to be able to troubleshoot complex wireless scenarios and identify configuration problems on existing customer deployments.

 

Requirements:

1.       Must have 5yrs of  - Wireless architecture, design and implementation experience in large wireless projects inclusive of products such as:

o    Aruba deployment is CRITICAL{ Aruba Controllers & Aruba Clearpass)

o    Knowledge routing & switching as it relates to Aruba Wireless Products.

o    Strong understanding of wireless communications, protocols, qos, airtime fairness, end point troubleshooting, and wireless configuration

2.       Aruba Certifications such as Aruba ACMP highly desired but not required.

o    ARUBA CERTIFIED SOLUTIONS PROFESSIONAL (ACSP) ARUBA CERTIFIED MOBILITY ASSOCIATE (ACMA),ARUBA CERTIFIED MOBILITY PROFESSIONAL (ACMP) ,ARUBA CERTIFIED CLEARPASS PROFESSIONAL (ACCP) ,ARUBA WIRELESS MESH PROFESSIONAL (AWMP),ARUBA CERTIFIED DESIGN EXPERT (ACDX),ARUBA CERTIFIED MOBILITY EXPERT (ACMX)

3.       Must have previous experience with wireless communications, protocols, qos, airtime fairness, end point troubleshooting, and wireless configuration.

o    Ability to troubleshoot AP communication, RF interference, and channel issues.

o    Strong understanding of networking technologies including; TCP/IP, DHCP, TFTP, VLAN, QoS, VoIP, and various WAN technologies (Frame Relay, MPLS, etc.)

o    Experience with handling RF in high density environments

o    Ability to troubleshoot multiple types of client endpoints such as tablets, smartphones.

4.       Building scripts and processes for automating repeatable operational business tasks

5.       Ensures processes are maintained, supported and documented for use by internal and external customers

6.       Ability to create QoS models, IP addressing schemes, and VLAN designs required

7.       Understanding of VPN, SSL and Firewall

8.       Create network topology maps using MS Visio

9.       Analyze end-to-end TCP/IP protocol trace to identify network connectivity issues is a strong plus

10.    Work with end users and vendors to resolve network hardware/software issues.
