We are now hiring an Oracle Financials Subject Matter Expert in Waynesboro, VA. Our client has recently brought in Oracle to help guide them through an Oracle EBS R12 implementation and configuration, and they will be leaving during the go live phase of the project. This resource will be taking over to help guide Client with how to utilize Oracle EBS R12 and identify issues proactively etc. This person must have excellent communication skills to be the liason between Oracle and Client. We are expecting a senior level resource who has a functional and technical knowledge or Oracle Financials. Client has no in house resources with knowledge of Oracle at this time so this person must be an SME to educate and guide Client on Oracle EBS’s capabilities and utilization.
There will be a possibility of remote work here if the candidate is not local. Client is willing to pay for travel expenses as needed to come onsite. We are looking for someone to start ASAP.
Contractor will need to work onsite in Waynesboro, however client is open to a 4 day work week and or remote work at times for out of town candidates.
Client has done an entirely new stand up of Oracle 11g platform. They have purchased a stack of applications (EBS, Metasolv, ASAP, BRM, Siebel) and have engaged Oracle for the initial implementation/configuration. This is a very standard implementation with a few customizations to the application.
Oracle EBS R12 is scheduled to go live in March/April and client is looking for a Technical/Functional consultant to bridge the gap once Oracle leaves and EBS is in production. This person will be working with the business and IT to understand expectations and needs, and proactively identify capabilities and issues that could arise. They will also be responsible for knowledge transfer and documentation for IT.
Client is currently in the system integration phase and will be moving to UAT testing shortly. They would like to onboard a consultant quickly and get them up to speed prior to Oracle departing in March/April.
Strong experience in Oracle Requirements:
· 10+ years of experience with Oracle Financials implementations
· Working with vendor/client pre and post implementation
· Ability to coach end client with how to utilize Oracle EBS and identify its capabilities
· Technical/Functional experience with Oracle EBS
· Experience working with business and IT to understand expectations, needs and identifying capabilities and issues that could arise
