Sr. Application Developer (PHP/MySQL5)

3mo Contract

Our client is seeking a bright, savvy, and passionate Sr. Applications Developer to join their interactive development team.  In this role you will lead the analysis, architecture, design, development, testing, and support of dynamic web, email, and other applications.

 

Qualifications:

 

•             5+ years programming experience

•             Working knowledge of PHP5+ and MySQL5+

•             ColdFusion 8+ a plus, but not required

•             Object oriented programming (OOP) development experience and UML modeling a plus

•             MVC Patterns and Frameworks (Code Igniter, Zend, Yii)

•             Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and XML; XSLT experience a strong plus

•             JQuery, JavaScript, AJAX

•             Working knowledge of API's, JSON, SOAP, and other web services (consumption/design/creation)

•             Microsoft SQL Server, including database modeling, creation, TSQL development (procedures, triggers, functions), optimization and troubleshooting

•             Other web development frameworks a plus (ASP.NET, J2EE, Ruby on Rails)

•             Social media consumption and development experience highly desired.  Ability to connect to leading social media networks (Facebook, Foursquare, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)

•             3rd Party CMS Platform experience a plus (Symphony, Expression Engine, Drupal, Joomla)

•             Superb interpersonal and communication skills

•             Organized and disciplined approach to complex problem solving

•             Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
