 Java Programmer Analystm.     Mounds View, MN

7+ Month Contract with likely extensions

*upon offer, candidates must complete background check and drug test*

 

Basic Job Duties : 

·       This person will be developing applications for the Mobile and Web Development group

·       Conducts analysis of systems specifications

·       Develops conversion and system implementation plans

·       Develops diagrams and flow charts

·       Gathers information from system users

·       Handles multiple programming and analyst assignments concurrently

·       Plans and participates in studies of application systems

·       Prepares proposals to reflect costs

·       Prepares system and programming documentation

·       Supports and services systems

·       Develops code according to specifications and conducts unit testing

 

Key Requirements

·       3 – 5 yrs of Java related experience is ideal

·       Groovy would be a HUGE plus but not required.

·       Developing all browser based web applications

·       Spring / Hibernate Frameworks experience (preferred)

·       Oracle databases used (important they know PL/SQL)

·       Web Logic application server used (not required)

·       Agile development experience required.

·       BEA WebLogic experience is preferred

·       Good Communication skills are a high priority

 

Desired Technical Skills:

Database: Oracle

E-Commerce Applications: J2EE, Ant, Hibernate, Spring

Education Level: High School Diploma or Equivalent Undergraduate Degree

GUI/Development Tools: Java, SQL 

Industry Experience: 3 - 5 Years

Program Languages: SQL, JavaScript, Java, HTML, XML
