Job Description:

• The Jetstream Application Architect will play a key role in Jetstream, a multi-year, companywide effort to replace American's Passenger Service System (PSS).
• The Jetstream Architect will collaborate with the AA System Architect, AA Product Architect, PSS provider architecture organization, application architects and technical leads across ITS and with other third party providers to produce the architecture that will support the modern PSS solution.
• This individual will collaborate with System and Product Architects to create a joint System Architecture including Application, Data, Services, Infrastructure, Network, Security and Integration Architecture for the AA Jetstream PSS product.
• The Jetstream Architect must understand the fundamentals of architecture including Agile development methodology best practices, Business Process Modeling (BPM), and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• He/she will work with the Federated Development and Integration Application Architects and System Architect in a highly collaborative environment to deliver the overall Jetstream solution.
• The Architect will produce technical documentation to support the AA Business Architecture Model (BAM) and define the Information System Architecture (ISA) for our BPM efforts.

Qualifications:

• Requires 7+ years technical expertise in architecting, designing, and implementing enterprise level highly distributed solutions Hands-on experience as an Application Architect or similar position Highly knowledgeable in BPM and SOA based technologies
• Strong Architecture skills with an understanding and/or development experience in XML, J2EE, .Net, WS-Security, ITIL processes
• Application Development Governance and Development tools,
• Web Services Management tools, and Object Oriented Programming
• Strong business process analysis skills
• Demonstrated experience with Enterprise Integration technologies

• Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
