Qualified candidate will have excellent written and verbal communications, self motivated, ability to work within all phases of the SDLC, and able to navigate ambiguity. Ability to work with Architects, Developers and Business Analytics/Operations teams to define data needs and Warehouse requirements.
Accountabilities:
· Perform data flow mapping and create data dictionaries, ensure data integrity from the design standpoint
· Assist in creating High Level and Detailed Design documentation
· Work with Architects to create meaningful requirements for Data Warehouse ETL development
· Work with Data Modelers to perform data analysis, define requirements and data needs
· Work closely with project and technical teams to identify, define and translate key business requirements into technology specifications. Document the development of the technology and business specifications. Provide input to the technical project plan and test plan.
· Act as change agent on behalf of the project vision by actively planning for and addressing cultural change issues/concerns.
· Document detailed business requirements and functional documentation; partner with others to identify business requirements and solutions; work with information management resources to translate requirements into information approach, design and implementation.
· Develop and maintain necessary methods, processes, controls and procedures to ensure quality of requirements, testing, and analysis. Create and implement repeatable processes.
· Work with a team of mid to senior level consultants.
Key Skills:
· 5+ years of related Data Analysis and/or design and implementation experience.
· 3-5 years mortgage banking business or technology experience.
· Has advanced experience specifically in business intelligence tools, Platform, and/or data warehousing
· Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and partner with a variety of stakeholders, and within complex cross functional and matrix team dynamics.
· Demonstrate advanced problem solving, analysis, and multi-tasking skills.
· Ability to coordinate processes or projects; compiling documentation.
· Demonstrated skill in analysis and documentation of pertinent assets and repeatable processes.
· Demonstrated experience in developing test methods, scripts, coordinating testing of complex technology components.
· Must be able to work within ambiguity and be able to deliver results.
· Mid to advanced SQL skills.
Preferred Experience:
· Tools: Rapid SQL, TOAD for Oracle, MS Access, Power Designer.
· Experience in both the business and the technical aspects of Business Intelligence.
· Technology project experience.
