Job Title: C#, .Net Developer

Duration: Long Term (6+months to start with)

Location: Philadelphia, PA

 

Relevant Experience (Yrs): 6+ years of experience in design, development and implementation.

 

MUST HAVE Technical/Functional Skills:  

- ASP.NET

- C#

- VB.NET

- MS SQL 2008/2010 ( Table partitioning, SSIS , SSRS)

- VS 2008/2010

- TFS 2008

- MVC

- WCF

- Webservices ( Create and Consume Webservices )

- XML , Xpath, Xquery

- Javascript

 

Nice to Have

- MSMQ

- SSIS

- Service broker Expertise

- UML

 

Roles & Responsibilities

 

Major Duties:

- Coding and unit testing of customer experience  applications

- Support defect analysis and resolution during Quality Assurance test cycle

- Document final program and develop user instructions, software/hardware requirements, program input / outputs and execution / installation steps

- Provide final escalation production support for developed applications

- Participates in team meetings to discuss approaches to current projects

- Complies with all established procedures and policies of Comcast

- Coordinate and distribute the work between offshore and onsite teams.

- Other functions that may be assigned

 

Generic Managerial Skills  

- Should have excellent communication and problem solving skills.

- Must be a team player.

 

Education   

- BS/B.E. in Computer Science/ Engineering
